On Saturday 28th of March, hundreds of millions of people and thousands of cities across the globe united against Global Warming!
For the third year in a row, Earth Hour has proved to be an enormous success with hundreds of millions of people and thousands of cities across the planet turning off their lights to tackle Global Warming.
From New Zealand to Honolulu, people showed how committed they are to tackling the problems of climate change. The lights out campaigns sends a clear message to the leaders of the world that people want effective leadership and action on climate change.
With such massive international public support being shown for Earth Hour, there is now a clear mandate to be taken into the talks in Copenhagen that will define the response to climate change for the future.
So thank you to everyone who showed their support across the globe, without your support none of this would be possible.
