Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is one of Australia's best known and respected charity events. Each year it raises millions of dollars for cancer research, education, support services and prevention.

• In Australia, by the age of 85, 1 in 2 people will have been diagnosed with cancer.
• Approximately 110,000 cases of cancer will be diagnosed in Australia in 2009
• Cancer costs $2.7 Billion in direct health system costs.
• But the survival rate for many common cancers has increased by more than 30% in the past two decades. 

On Thursday the 28th of May, to increase the progress made against cancer and to get involved in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea:

• Register as a host, or make a donation via the website.
• and then let everyone in your community know about Australia's Biggest Morning Tea and invite them along.

Are you a NSW Labor Member?

Get other NSW Labor Members in your area involved! You can register your branch to take part in The Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday the 28th of May.

Then send photos of your branch participating in The Biggest Morning Tea 2009 to the NSW Labor Membership Services Unit.

And remember that you don't have to hold your morning tea specifically on the 28th of May. You can hold your morning tea anytime during the months of May and June.
