Country Labor is asking for your support in helping deliver fast, reliable broadband services to all of Australia.
For 12 years the Coalition government provided 18 plans but no solutions. Their inaction left Rural and Regional communities in dire need of fast and reliable internet. One of the first things that Labor made a priority when elected was to make sure that all australians had access to the internet services they need.
You can help support Australian rural and regional communities by signing the petition that will force Coalition senators to support the National Broadband Network.
If successful the campaign will help the NBN:
- Connect 90 percent of all Australian homes, schools and workplaces with broadband services with speeds up to 100 times faster than those currently used by many households and businesses.
- Connect all other premises in Australia with next generation wireless and satellite technologies that will be deliver broadband speeds of 12 megabits per second
- Directly support up to 25,000 local jobs every year, on average, over the 8 year life of the project.
So don't let the Coalition deny us this Communications Revolution.
