We won't be silenced
The Coalition and the Greens have ganged up to pass a law that attempts to silence our political voice.
This law:
- Bans donations from unions, community organisations and corporations; and
- Prevents unions from pooling funds to run political campaigns like Your Rights at Work; but
- Allows wealthy individuals to spend $1 million each supporting the NSW Government.
Under this law, the wealthy will control the political process in NSW, while we will lose our basic democratic freedoms.
The Liberals and Greens shouldn’t be allowed to get away with restricting people’s right to organise and make their voice heard.

Sign the petition and tell them we won’t be silenced
To the Members of NSW Parliament: We believe that every individual, union and community group in NSW has a democratic right to fully participate in the political process. We are opposed to your campaign finance changes, which take away basic democratic freedoms such as freedom of communication and association. We call on you to repeal these changes to restore our right to fully participate in the democratic political process in NSW.
