David Borger MP

Member for Granville

Minister for Housing, Minister for Western Sydney and Minister Assisting the Minister for Transport and Roads

David Borger has represented the people of Parramatta and Granville since 1995. Before entering Parliament in 2007, David served as the Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Australia’s sixth largest CBD.

A former urban planner, David was also housing and planning adviser to the Deputy Premier Andrew Refshauge when the latter was NSW Planning Minister.

David has been married to Giselle for ten years. They have two children Grace and Zoë.

Since being elected in 2007, David also served as Chairman of the Public Works Committee.

On September 8th, 2008 David was sworn in as the Minister for Housing and the Minister for Western Sydney.
