1. Be part of the Labor Team
Campaigning is one of the most important and interesting activites in which you can get involved. You can play your part in planning and implementing the strategy and tactics of a local council, state or federal election campaign or you can also help by donating just one or two hours of your time in Party office.
It is now, more than ever, that the efforts of volunteers, giving up their time to deliver leaflets, knock on doors and talk to their neighbours will be absolutely critical to rebuliding our Party. From there we will be in a great position to return local Labor MPs to Parliament and return Labor to Government.
2. Help Shape Our Nation
Have your say at your local branch on local, state and national issues that interest you. Together members of NSW Labor can create policy that shapes our State and Nation. You can also hear reports from state and federal Labor MPs and local councillors.
3. Get Involved
Young Labor, Country Labor and the Labor Women’s Network are great ways for you to get involved as a member of NSW Labor. You can join a social issue campaign or be part of an election campaign. There are lots of local, state and national issues that will interest you. You may even run for Public Office one day.
4. Engage Online
As a member of NSW Labor you will have access to Member Central where you can access Labor groups, campaign material and a collection of other great content. We will also keep you up-to-date with email bulletins of special member events, news and information.
You can also connect with NSW Labor through Facebook and Twitter, where you can receive frequent updates, alerts and most importantly engage with and meet other NSW Labor members and supporters.
5. Connect with Labor Members at Special Events and Training Days
New members evenings, State and Country Conferences, policy and regional forums and campaign training are just some of the great opportunities available to you as a member of NSW Labor.
Meet and enjoy time with other people who share your Labor's values. Being in NSW Labor is fun and rewarding, with regular social events such as the annual McKell Dinner and Awards, and local dinners and functions.
