Central Policy Branch

Do you want to be a part of dynamic and robust policy discussions? Then the Central Policy Branch is another great way for you to participate in Party life. Meetings feature guest speakers, interesting themes and lively question and answer sessions.

How Can I get Involved?

There are three ways for you to get involved in the Central Policy Branch.

1.    Join!

You can join the Central Policy Branch instead of joining your local Branch. The steps are the same as joining any branch.
Complete an application to join the Central Policy Branch and either return to NSW Labor or bring it along to your first Central Policy Branch Meeting. Don’t forget: if you are transferring out of your local Branch you will need to fill out a Clearance Card too (you can download a Clearence Card below).

2.    Just Visit Us

Even if you’re a member of another branch you’re welcome to attend Central Policy Branch as a visitor.
Central Policy Branch meetings are held each month, mainly at Sydney's historic Trades Hall in Goulburn Street, Sydney.
3.   Watch Online
Webcasts of the Central Policy Branch are available online so you never have to miss one of these dynamic policy debates.
Country Labor branches may like to organise a screening of Central Policy Branch at their own local meeting - we've found this to be helpful in stimulating interesting policy debates at your local meeting.
Are you a regular at Central Policy Branch? If so complete our survey so we can continue to make Central Policy Branch interesting and fresh:
