From the Young Labor President
Paul Keating, a former Prime Minister and Young Labor President once said that when you change the government, you change the country.
As Australia's largest youth political organisation—an organisation that helped to elect a Rudd Labor Government—we are making sure that it's a change for the better.
Young Labor has never been an organisation that just sits on the sidelines; we get out there and change Australia by helping to elect Labor Governments.
Now, with Labor in power federally and in every State and Territory, we have an opportunity to be a part of something bigger.
NSW Young Labor will be spending 2008 developing and debating policy aimed at improved the lives and wellbeing of young people, and then campaigning for it to be implemented.
If you want to be part of the team that is now building a better future for Australia, then Young Labor is the place for you.
If you'd like to campaign for the reelection of Labor Governments, want to debate policy, or just want to hang out with other young people at a social event, then I urge you to get involved and be a part of something bigger.
I hope to see you at an event soon.
Yours in Labor,
President
NSW Young Labor
